Frederic Osborn, founding president of the Alliance, is also owner of Marine Electrical Services, Inc., a New Bedford contractor which has provided electrical maintenance to primarily the fishing fleet (and other vessels) for the past fifteen years.

Gene Soccolich, strategic advisor to the Alliance, temporarily has relocated to the New Bedford area after over twenty years as an executive in the Hi-tech industry. Prior, he served in two administrations as senior advisor to the Commonwealth’s leadership on marine and energy issues, and holds degrees in both Marine Science and Marine Affairs.

Jesse Budi, whose father holds a support position for four vessels in the long lining industry sector, has been assisting the Alliance this summer in various administrative activities. This fall, Jesse will head off to the College of Charleston as a freshman. |
